The story of a photographer

Hi! I’m Yuliana — the heart behind Lily & Roses Photography, a family photographer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I have been photographing for over 15 years. My journey began with architecture and landscape photography, but over time, I discovered my true passion: capturing meaningful moments for families and loved ones. Photography has become my beautiful escape, and I feel incredibly lucky to meet wonderful souls (like you reading this!) every day.

My goal is to capture authentic, timeless moments filled with genuine connection and emotion — the little in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors or planning my next traveling adventure. Thanks to my parents, I’ve always had the travel bug and have been fortunate enough to visit over 15 countries. I find joy in the little things in life, but there’s something truly inspiring about experiencing new cultures, foods, and cities.

What I love most about being a photographer is the trust my clients place in me to capture their story. There is something so special about documenting the connection between loved ones, and I feel honored to meet and photograph so many amazing families.
